磷酸（烯醇）丙酮酸三钠盐水合物用于：
  • 一些酶活性测定，例如 PRPP合成酶（PRPPS）测定、核糖激酶（RK）测定，腺嘌呤磷酸核糖基转移酶（APRT）测定
  • 反应混合物，进行酶动力学测定，确定血小板衍生生长因子受体 α （PDGFRA）的动力学参数
  • 作为缓冲液B成分，与二磷酸腺苷（ADP）反应，形成三磷酸腺苷（ATP），进行能荷测量

生化/生理作用

磷酸烯醇丙酮酸作为抑制剂，通过抑制己糖激酶、磷酸葡萄糖异构酶、磷酸果糖激酶和醛缩酶，在糖酵解的初始步骤中起主要作用。
磷酸（烯醇）丙酮酸 (PEP) 参与糖酵解和糖异生。在糖酵解中，PEP 被丙酮酸激酶代谢生成丙酮酸。在植物中，PEP 参与芳香族氨基酸的形成以及碳固定途径。
