General description

黄体酮是卵巢分泌的一种类固醇激素。

Application

可用于细胞培养应用中研究固醇对细胞信号传导和基因表达的调节。
黄体酮已被用于：
  • 作为牛乳腺上皮细胞培养基础培养基中的促生长激素
  • 在特征明确的外侧皮质挫伤损伤（CCI）模型中测试其神经保护能力
  • 作为内吞抑制剂研究其对柯萨奇病毒A9感染A549细胞的作用

Biochem/physiol Actions

孕激素是维持怀孕的一种激素。它对于几乎所有哺乳动物的胚胎形成、发育和生存都是必不可少的。这种激素通过孕激素受体发挥作用，孕激素受体在整个妊娠期间都在子宫内膜基质中特异性表达。研究已发现通过肌肉内给药可防止早产。孕酮还可控制促性腺激素的分泌，激活性行为并触发卵巢事件导致排卵。它可刺激子宫的生长和分化，并防止子宫收缩。
诱导子宫内皮细胞的成熟和分泌活性；抑制排卵。

Physical form

室温下为粉末状；分成小份冻存，以避免使用时反复冷冻/解冻

Preparation Note

每mg孕酮中添加1 ml无水乙醇，轻轻旋转使其溶解，再往每ml乙醇中添加49ml无菌培养基，从而制备20 μg/ml储备溶液。
