生化/生理作用
派洛宁Y是一种插入RNA 的阳离子染料，在电泳中显示为红色条带。研究表明，它还可以在活细胞的线粒体中聚集。派洛宁Y还可以与甲基绿或Nancy-520一起使用，用作石蜡组织切片中核酸的荧光差异染料。
