转移 RNA (tRNA) 是从面包酵母中分离得到的。
转运RNA(tRNA)是一条RNA核苷酸短链,呈L型。

应用

从面包酵母(S. cerevisiae)转移的核糖核酸适合用作核酸纯化和沉淀中的载体。
来自面包酵母 (S. cerevisiae)的转运核糖核酸可用于裸卵(denuded oocyte)mRNA沉淀和逆转录。还用于在鼻咽癌(NPC)细胞RNA pull-down实验中封闭磁珠。

生化/生理作用

转运RNA(tRNA)作为衔接分子将mRNA序列中的三核苷酸序列(密码子)翻译为对应的氨基酸序列。通过连接配对的氨基酸和核酸来确定遗传密码。tRNA参与病毒复制、细菌细胞壁生物合成、细胞应激反应和动物行为控制。tRNA分子异常与多种人类疾病有关。
