Biochem/physiol Actions
白细胞介素-6（IL-6）作为神经调节因子。IL-6有两种信号传导途径，称为经典信号传导途径和反式信号传导途径。它通过激活IL-6/白细胞介素6受体（IL-6R）/信号转导子和转录激活子3（STAT3）信号通路在缺血性中风中具有神经保护作用。IL-6是一种多功能细胞因子，与急性炎症有关。IL-6与SAPHO（滑膜炎，痤疮，脓疱病，骨质增生和骨炎）综合征有关。
