血红蛋白(Hb)是脊椎动物中氧气输送的主要方式。血红蛋白具有抗氧化和抗菌活性。血液中血红蛋白水平在贫血和红细胞增多症等多种疾病中会发生变化。此外，血红蛋白浓度异常也可能与多种呼吸疾病有关，比如特发性肺纤维化(IPF)和慢性阻塞性肺疾病(COPD)。
General description
该试剂盒中提供的抗体对可识别人血红蛋白。血红蛋白(Hb)是一种含铁金属蛋白，在红细胞中高度表达。也表达于非红系细胞，比如不同来源的上皮细胞。血红蛋白是由2条α-球蛋白和2条β-球蛋白链组成的四聚体。αα-球蛋白和β-球蛋白分别由第11和16号染色体上的基因编码。
