Complement sera from rabbit has been used:
- for the incubation of embryo prior to inner cell mass isolation
- in the complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC) assay of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs)
- in the purification of schwann cells
Biochem/physiol Actions
Rabbit complement sera was shown to promote acrosomal loss in rabbit spermatozoa due to activation of the complement.
