应用
苦马豆素 (Swainsonine) 可用于:
- 检测其对神经干细胞增殖的影响
- 抑制TC-1肿瘤细胞中的α-甘露糖苷酶
- 抑制β肝细胞癌 (HCC) 细胞的1,6-分支合成。
苦马豆素是各种α-甘露糖苷酶的有效抑制剂,特别是α-甘露糖苷酶II。它能够抑制糖蛋白加工,也可作为免疫调节剂。
生化/生理作用
苦马豆素能抑制内质网和高尔基体中的α-甘露糖苷酶活性。它还能激活自然杀伤细胞。苦马豆素会引起神经毒性,其暴露会损伤学习和记忆,从而导致认知功能缺陷。它可抑制肝细胞癌并增强其对抗癌药紫杉醇的敏感性。
