来自鲍鱼内脏的硫酸酯酶已用于研究中，确定人 p-选择蛋白糖蛋白配体-1 通过 PSGL-1氨基末端的硫酸化酪氨酸与皮肤相关趋化因子 CCL27 相互作用。 来自鲍鱼内脏的硫酸酯酶也已用于研究来自仓鼠胚胎成纤维细胞的硫酸盐和谷胱甘肽结合物的 HPLC。
来自鲍鱼内脏的硫酸酯酶已用于组织绿茶多酚（GTP）分析，可以将共轭形式消化为游离形式。它还被用于检测游离形式、葡糖醛酸化形式或总GTP。
生化/生理作用
硫酸酯酶水解络合物大分子（如糖胺聚糖和硫脂）的硫酸酯。它有助于调节硫酸化状态，其决定了多种生理分子的作用。
其他说明
一单位硫酸酯酶在 pH5.0、37℃ 条件下，每小时水解 1.0 μmole p-硫酸萘基酯（30 分钟检测）。
