Biochem/physiol Actions
TIR domain containing adaptor protein (TIRAP) takes part in the toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) signaling pathway. It activates various proteins and indirectly influences the release of inflammatory cytokines. This protein also has a role in the activation of proinflammatory genes.
