Anti-Chicken IgG (H+L), highly cross adsorbed-Biotin antibody produced in goat

An immunoglobulin has two heavy chain and two light chain connected by disulfide bond. It mainly helps in immune defense. It is a glycoprotein. IgG is a major class of immunoglobulin. Immunoglobulin G (IgG) participates in hypersensitivity type II and type III. Chicken IgG is structurally unique from mammalian analogue as it has an additional constant domain. IgG is mostly present in the yolk.

This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Chicken IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by conjugation to fluorochrome and extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against Anti-Goat Serum, Chicken IgG and Chicken Serum. No reaction was observed against Bovine, Goat, Guinea Pig, Hamster, Horse, Human, Mouse, Rabbit, Rat and Sheep Serum Proteins. This antibody will react with heavy chains of Chicken IgG and with light chains of most Chicken immunoglobulins.

Supplied in 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2 with 10 mg/mL Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) - Immunoglobulin and Protease free

Reconstitute with 1.0 mL deionized water (or equivalent).
