Gene Information

human ... PHF3(23469)

General description

Anti-PHF3 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total PHF3 protein.
The gene PHF3 (PHD finger protein 3) is mapped to human chromosome 6. It is widely expressed in human tissues.

Immunogen

The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human PHF3.

Immunogen Range: 1990-2039

Biochem/physiol Actions

The gene region PTP4A1-PHF3-EYS (protein tyrosine phosphatase type 4A member 1 - PHD finger protein 3 - eyes shut homolog) is associated with alcohol dependence.

Features and Benefits

Evaluate our antibodies with complete peace of mind. If the antibody does not perform in your application, we will issue a full credit or replacement antibody. Learn more.

Physical form

Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

Several genome-wide association studies (GWASs) reported tens of risk genes for alcohol dependence, but most of them have not been replicated or confirmed by functional studies. The present study used a GWAS to search for novel, functional and replicable risk

We previously reported a risk genomic region (ie, PTP4A1-PHF3-EYS) for alcohol dependence in a genome-wide association study (GWAS). We also reported a rare variant constellation across this region that was significantly associated with alcohol dependence. In the present study, we
