PKC α (protein kinase C α) being one of the isozymes of the PKC family, it catalyzes the phosphorylation of substrates with many peptides.

General description
Anti-PKC α Antibody detects endogenous levels of total PKC α protein.
PKC α (protein kinase C α) gene is mapped to 17q24.2. PKC α is expressed in heart, liver, brain and epithelium.

The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human PKC alpha.
