Biochem/physiol Actions
核糖体蛋白质S27a （RPS27a）参与核糖体生物发生和蛋白质的翻译后修饰。该编码蛋白促进细胞增殖，控制细胞周期进展，抑制白血病细胞的细胞凋亡。RPS27A 或泛素的过度表达导致进展期慢性粒细胞白血病（CML）和急性淋巴细胞白血病（ALL）。因此，以RPS27a为靶标的药物结合酪氨酸激酶抑制剂（TKI）可能成为TKI 耐药CML患者的潜在疗法。作为泛素通路的成分，泛素羧基延伸蛋白1（UBCEP-1）表达的升高，通过提高参与生长抑制或细胞凋亡的蛋白降解，促进前列腺癌的发生。RPS27a可能是细胞中独特的应激传感器，其导致p53 活性上升，抑制细胞周期的进展。
