General description
Anti-ZNF148 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total ZNF148 protein.
The ZNF148 (zinc finger protein 148) gene is mapped to human chromosome 3q21.2. The encoded protein contains four C2H2 zinc finger motifs.

Biochem/physiol Actions
Znf148 (zinc finger protein 148) is known to regulate cell growth and apoptosis. ZNF148 is involved in tumor growth, invasion and metastasis. Znf148 possesses tumor suppressor activity. Upregulation of the ZNF148 gene is observed in colorectal cancer and Znf148 brings about apoptosis, induced by p53-dependent or in an independent manner in cancer cells.
