Biochem/physiol Actions

General description

上皮细胞粘附分子 (EpCAM)或称分化簇326(CD326)由位于人类染色体 2p21的14 kb GA733-2基因编码。人EpCAM的表达限于结肠、小肠、肺、肾脏、胸腺、肝脏、胰腺和胃的上皮细胞。它也在多种癌症、祖细胞和干细胞中表达。CD326 是一种跨膜糖蛋白,其特征在于含有一个胞外区(ectodomain)、一个跨膜结构域和一个含26个残基的胞质结构域。
鼠单克隆抗体VU-1D9可识别上皮细胞系标志物CD326/EpCAM的EGF样结构域I内的表位。该抗体可强烈染色各种正常上皮细胞和癌。
