Biochem/physiol Actions
Neoseptin-3可独立于CD14（分化簇14），刺激小鼠TLR4（mTLR4）/髓样分化因子2（mTLR）的活性。此激活的mTLR4/mTLR可促进经典的髓样分化初级反应基因88（MyD88）和含toll-白细胞介素（IL）1受体（TIR）结构域接头蛋白诱导干扰素（IFN）-β（TRIF）依赖的信号。此外，neoseptin-3也可刺激肿瘤坏死因子 α （TNF-α）、IL-6和IFNβ 以剂量依赖性方式产生。
Neoseptin-3是小鼠TLR4（mTLR4）/骨髓分化因子2（MD-2）复合物的一种高效特异性激动剂。Neoseptin-3可与MD2结合，改变MD-2的构象并促进活性TLR4/MD-2二聚体的形成。Neoseptin-3与脂质A没有结构相似性。
