MS4370 is an inactive control for PRMT5 degrader MS4322. It comprises of PRMT5 inhibitor EPZ015666 is linked to a von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) E3 ligase ligand (R,S,S)-AHPC-Me (diastereoisomer of VHL-2) that acts as a potent, cell-permeable PRMT5 inhibitor (IC50 = 12 nM). MS4730 does neither degrade PRMT5 nor reduce PRMT5 protein levels at 5 µM, and thus serves as a suitable control for MS4322.
