MALP-2 trifluoroacetate

MALP-2 is a synthetic diacylated lipopeptide that exerts its in vitro and in vivo immunostimulatory properties via toll-like receptor 2 & 6 heterodimeric complex (TLR2/6) with the (2R)-MALP-2 being >100 times more potent than the (2S)-isomer in stimulating the release of cytokines, chemokines, and NO (C3H/HeJ murine macrophages & primay human monocytes). Unlike the Mycoplasma fermentas-derived MALP-2, the synthetic peptide contains dipalmityloxyl (no stearoyloxyl) and has (2R) instead of racemic (2R/S) configuration. Typical dosing range in culture: 5-200 ng/mL (2.34-936 nM)
