Biochem/physiol Actions
HSL119 is a cell penetrant, potent and selective inhibitor of HUNK kinase (hormonally upregulated neu-associated kinase) that completely blocks phosphorylation of the Rubicon S92 in vitro. HSL119 decreases Rubicon S92 phosphorylation and potently inhibits survival of patient driven JIMT-1 cells (HER2+ breast cancer cells) (IC50 = 1.7µM in JIMT-1 cells). HSL119 exhibits substantial efficacy toward HER2+ breast cancer. Additionally, HSL119 inhibits ABL1, BRAF, FLT3, and RET kinases.
