General description

Human CD46-C, also known as membrane co-factor protein, GenBank Accession No. BC_030594, a.a. 35-285 and 301-328 with C-terminal His-tag, expressed in a HEK293 cell expression system. MW = 35.2 kDa (precursor), 32.8 kDa (mature). Note: this protein is expressed with a 34 amino acid signal sequence that is cleaved after secretion and is heavily glycosylated, resulting in a protein that runs at a higher apparent MW.
