基质金属蛋白酶(MMP)是一个需要锌和钙来表达催化活性的内蛋白酶家族。MMP-2是一种分泌型胶原酶,对IV、V、VII和X型胶原具有特异性。该基因被定位于人类染色体16q12.2。重组人MMP-2是一种62kDa蛋白,包含整个催化性N端结构域和C端结构域(552个氨基酸)。
生化/生理作用
