General description
Stromal cell-derived factor-1 beta is a stromal derived CXC chemokine. It signals through CXCR4 receptor. Recombinant mouse SDF-1β is an 8.5 kDa protein containing 72 amino acid residues.
Physical form
Sterile filtered and lyophilized with no additives. The protein may appear as a haze or film, which is difficult to see at the bottom of the vial.
Preparation Note
Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Reconstitute in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers.
