General description
基因 CALC1（降钙素 1）定位于人类第 11 号染色体。CALC1 编码前降钙素。前降钙素在氨基端被内肽酶裂解产生降钙素原。降钙素原作为肽类激素发挥作用，主要由甲状腺的 C 细胞和肺的某些内分泌细胞产生。 在正常表达条件下，降钙素原立即裂解为 3 个特异性片段，N 端残基，降钙素和抗钙素。 大肠埃希菌中产生的重组人降钙素原 是一种单一的、非糖基化的多肽链，含有 116 个氨基酸，分子量为 12,796 道尔顿。
Application
人降钙素原已经用于 体外 血管渗透性试验。
Biochem/physiol Actions
降钙素原是降钙素的前激素。未加工的降钙素原水平在细菌感染、创伤或休克后显著升高。降钙素原也与急性胰腺炎患者的全身并发症相关。
