General description
高迁移率族蛋白B1(HMGB1)又称高迁移率族蛋白1(HMG-1)和两性蛋白,是HMGB家族的一员,由HMGB1、HMGB2和HMGB3三个成员组成。HMGB1是一种非组蛋白结构染色体蛋白,普遍存在于所有脊椎动物的细胞核中,并在没有序列特异性的情况下结合双链DNA。但是,它可以在细胞核和细胞质之间穿梭。该蛋白由活化的单核细胞和巨噬细胞分泌。HMGB1来自高迁移率族蛋白超家族。该基因定位于人类染色体13q12。
Application

Biochem/physiol Actions

Physical form
从0.22 μm过滤的PBS溶液中冻干。冻干前一般加入5-8%甘露醇或海藻糖作为保护剂。
Preparation Note
打开样品瓶之前需离心。用无菌的PBS,pH7.4重悬成浓度为50 μg/mL的溶液。不可涡旋。该溶液可在2-8℃下储存长达1个月。如要长期储存,建议将其存放于-20℃。
