蛋白质组学级胰蛋白酶单品具有出色的蛋白水解效率，可产生更多的胰蛋白酶肽，从而为您感兴趣的肽提供更大的序列覆盖率。由于干扰性自溶峰及其模糊加合物的数量减少，从而大大简化了质谱分析。目前已经从猪胰腺分离出大量蛋白质组学级胰蛋白酶，使其能够在Arg和Lys残基的羧酸侧实现精准切割。通过对酶进行彻底的还原性甲基化处理，能够最大限度地减少自溶，并且已通过TPCK处理淬灭了胰凝乳蛋白酶活性。通过亲和层析以及稀酸干燥等进一步纯化步骤，获得高纯度的高比活性胰蛋白酶，特别符合蛋白质组学研究的苛刻标准，并且专用于溶液或凝胶类消化物。

应用

蛋白质组学级胰蛋白酶单品已被用于蛋白质消化，以通过MALDI-TOF MS（基质辅助激光解吸电离-飞行时间质谱法）分析产生的肽。它已被用于蛋白质消化，以通过LC-MS（液相色谱-质谱法）/MS分析产生的肽。
