应用

2-硫尿嘧啶可作为抗癌、抗甲状腺和抗病毒剂。2-硫脲嘧啶是一种选择性黑色素瘤探测物和神经元一氧化氮合酶的竞争性抑制剂。可与金(Au)、铬(Cr)、锌(Zn)和银(Ag)等过渡金属形成络合物。2-硫脲嘧啶可加入组织培养基，在化疗期间抑制病毒复制或从感染组织转移到健康组织。
