Application
D-缬氨酸已用作下列培养基的补充剂：
- 杜氏改良Eagle培养基(DMEM)/营养混合物F-12 Ham (F-12)，用于小鼠肾近曲小管上皮细胞(RPTC)培养
- 内皮细胞生长培养基MV2，用于大鼠肺微血管内皮细胞(RLMEC)培养
- DMEM/F-12培养基，用于小鼠气管上皮细胞(MTEC)培养
Biochem/physiol Actions
D-缬氨酸适于半合成兽用抗生素、药物和农药等广泛生产应用。
D-缬氨酸在细胞培养中可用作细胞增殖的选择性抑制剂，主要抑制D-氨基酸氧化酶缺乏细胞。 D-缬氨酸一直以来均被用于抑制成纤维细胞生长，同时允许上皮细胞选择性生长。
