General description
Dry gels quickly and easily between sheets of cellophane without heat or vacuum. Simply equilibrate gel in 20% ethanol − 10% glycerol to reduce swelling, then assemble cellophane sheets and gel in a sandwich on the drying frame, and leave to dry at room temperature. Most gels dry completely overnight.

Cellophane Sheet Application Tips:
1. Holding the two top corners of the cellophane sheet, gently slide the sheet into water.
2. Perform step 1 carefully so as to allow for the top left and right corners to enter the water first, followed by the remainder of the sheet.
3. If done gently you may get a mild curling effect, but nothing too serious.
4. The rest of the sheet can then be moistened and applied to the gel.
Note: If you submerge the whole cellophane sheet all at once, the sheet has a tendency to curl onto itself, rendering the sheet useless.
