Dri-gauze^™ filter liner for Tunair^™ shake flask

The Dri-Gauze^™ filter is 0.22 μm and constructed of nitrocellulose. Each filter can be used 10 – 12 times. The Dri-Gauze filters can be autoclaved in the cap. It consists of five dri-gauze filter cap linings to accommodate a 300 ml flask. The filter lining in the cap assembly can be replaced by pinching the flanges of the inner-closure shell until they snap loose. Then pull them apart and remove the used lining. The lining is replaced by sandwiching it between two parts of the cap and placing the cap back together. Ensure the flanges from the inner piece snap into the mated grooves in the outer piece, while reassembling. This makes the cap assembly stays intact during use.
