General description
The EcoTainer™ 24 is a rapidly degradable URISAFE® container. Plastics take hundreds of years to degrade naturally in the environment. The Simport EcoTainer™ 24 will biodegrade to become some of the soil’s organic components in less than 7 years in constant contact with the earth instead of up to 400 years for conventional plastics. The only necessary condition for the EcoTainer™ 24 to biodegrade is continuous contact with other degrading materials. No heat, physical stress, oxygen, or sunlight is necessary. The EcoTainer™ 24 can break down safely and quickly, by biological means, into the raw materials of nature and disappear into the environment.
