General description
For sealing a PCR 8-tube strip or a single row of a 96-well plate. An economical and more user-friendly alternative to PCR strip-caps; no sore thumbs guaranteed! Precision cut to a smaller dimension for sealing one PCR 8-tube strip or a single row of a 96-well plate whenever rows must be selectively protected or accessed. FilmStrips remove easily with no splash back as can occur with strip-caps.

- Strips can be peeled individually or two-at-a-time for increased efficiency
- Strips can be used to selectively cover one row of a plate to prevent accidental pipetting or to re-seal rows that have been pierced
- Certified DNase- & RNase- free clear polyester film
- Specially formulated adhesive provides an excellent seal to minimize evaporation, reduce cross-contamination and prevent spillage
- FilmStrips remove easily and cleanly with no splash back as can occur with strip-caps
- Features two removable end-tabs with perforations for ease of handling, application and removal
- A non-locking workstation is recommended for sample prep (e.g. 96 round-well PCR plate or deep well block)
- Removal of the end-tabs at the perforations is recommended before cycling
- A final sealing step is highly recommended in the thermal cycler because 8-tube strips flex during handling
