Clone 1L13 is a ZooMAb^® Rabbit recombinant monoclonal antibody that specifically detects Glioma tumor suppressor candidate region gene 1 protein-like (GLTSCR1L). It targets an epitope within 24 amino acids from the C-terminal half.

Quality Control Testing

Evaluated by Western Blotting in HCT116 cell lysate.

Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:1,000 dilution of this antibody detected GLTSCR1L in HCT116 cell lysate.

Tested applications

Western Blotting Analysis (WB): A 1:1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected GLTSCR1L in NIH3T3, A431, Raw264.7, and Jurkat cell lysates.

Western Blotting Analysis: A representative lot of this antibody detected GLTSCR1L in mononuclear primary cell cultures from bone marrow, spleen plus human PlatE cells, and LNCaP cells.

Flow Cytometry Analysis (FC): 1 μg from a representative lot detected GLTSCR1L in one million Jurkat cells.


Affinity Binding Assay: A representative lot of this antibody bound GLTSCR1L peptide with a KD of 3.2 x 10-6 in an affinity binding assay.

BRD4-interacting chromatin-remodeling complex-associated protein-like (UniProt: Q6AI39; also known as Glioma tumor suppressor candidate region gene 1 protein-like, GLTSCR1L) is encoded by the BICRAL (also known as GLTSCR1L, KIAA0240) gene (Gene ID: 23506) in human. GLTSCR1L is a component of the SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling subcomplex GBAF that carries out key enzymatic activities, changing chromatin structure by altering DNA-histone contacts within a nucleosome in an ATP-dependent manner. The mammalian SWI/SNF complex is an ATP-dependent chromatin remodeler composed of 10 - 14 subunits and is implicated in a variety of processes including mitosis, DNA replication, DNA damage repair, genomic looping, and gene splicing, GLTSCR1L knockouts in the metastatic prostate cancer cell line PC3 is shown to result in a loss in proliferation and colony-forming ability. Purified recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody IgG, lyophilized in PBS, 5% Trehalose, normal appearance a coarse or translucent resin. The PBS/trehalose components in the ZooMAb formulation can have the appearance of a semi-solid (bead like gel) after lyophilization. This is a normal phenomenon. Please follow the recommended reconstitution procedure in the data sheet to dissolve the semi-solid, bead-like, gel-appearing material. The resulting antibody solution is completely stable and functional as proven by full functional testing. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide, or any animal by-products. Larger pack sizes provided as multiples of 25 μL.

Reconstitute lyophilized antibody pellet with 25μL of ultrapure water or Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS). Please refer to our reconstitution protocol and the specific application guidance on the suggested starting dilutions and sample type.

Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C; Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial; Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 μL of filtered lab grade water or PBS; Reconstituted antibodies can be stored at 2-8°C, or -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
