Pressure from gas line acts on a large area piston which drives a piston of small area. The pressure is amplified in the ratio of the areas of the faces of the pistons, and high pressure liquid at a constant pressure is delivered to the system. Line filter helps in constant pressure and drop in volume flow rate through the system.

This brass gas line filter contains a replaceable 7 μm stainless steel filter, and will remove dust and small particles that could otherwise foul downstream needle valves. Nuts and ferrules included.
