Throttling valve′s on and off settings determines whether or not fluid flows past the valve. It is much more efficient than the toggle on/off valve, as it provides better flow control between 0 and 100% flow and has a larger baseline pressure drop. There are many styles of throttling valve like globe valve and butterfly valve.
