General description
Screw caps [black polypropylene hole cap, thread 8-425, septum thickness 1.5 mm, for use with 2 mL vial (standard opening)] are available for use with sealing septa. Polypropylene caps have a maximum temperature of 135° C. The PTFE/silicone septum can be used with most organics (until pierced) and is not recommended for chlorosilanes.
