Application
MCPA is a herbicide for control of annual and perenial weeds in cereals and other crops. It can also be a pesticide transformation product. Under Reg. (EC) No 1107/2009 MCPA is approved for it′s use in the European Union as a plant protection product. Maximum residue levels (MRLs) have been set for MCPA and MCPB (MCPA, MCPB including their salts, esters and conjugates expressed as MCPA) according to Reg. (EU) No 491/2014 for various products of plant and animal origin in the range of 0.05 - 3 mg/kg. The certified reference material (CRM) is intended to be used as a calibrant for chromatography and other analytical techniques.
General description
This certified reference material (CRM) is produced and certified in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034.
