一般描述

链脲菌素（STZ 或 2-脱氧-2（3-甲基-3-亚硝基脲基）-d-吡喃葡萄糖）是一种抗生素，主要从无色链霉菌中分离得到。

应用

链脲菌素已用于：
  • 小鼠腹腔注射，用于做动物实验
  • 在柠檬酸钠缓冲液中腹腔注射小鼠，进行体内 STZ 处理，用于对胰腺内分泌细胞进行单细胞 RNA 测序
  • 诱导小鼠糖尿病/糖尿病视网膜病变（DR）研究小胶质细胞脾脏酪氨酸激酶（Syk）在 DR 中的作用

生化/生理作用

一种在胰岛中可作为一氧化氮供体的含N-亚硝基化合物；诱导胰岛素分泌细胞的死亡，产生糖尿病动物模型。可诱导染色体断裂的有效DNA甲基化剂。 对表达GLUT2葡萄糖转运蛋白的神经内分泌肿瘤细胞系具有细胞毒性。
链脲菌素（STZ 或 2-脱氧-2（3-甲基-3-亚硝基脲基）-d-吡喃葡萄糖）是一种能导致胰腺 β-细胞破坏的强效烷基化剂，被用作诱导胰岛素依赖型糖尿病（IDDM）的实验药物。它具有溶瘤、抗肿瘤、致癌和致糖尿病的特性。这种抗肿瘤药物用于治疗转移性胰岛细胞癌。STZ 可以直接使 DNA 甲基化，并且具有高度的遗传毒性。
