General description
自闭症易感基因2（AUTS2）是多梳抑制复合物2（PRC2）的一部分。该基因位于人染色体7q11.22上。AUTS2由两个富含脯氨酸的区域（PR1和PR2）、八个组氨酸重复序列、核定位序列和一个预测PY基序组成。它在大脑中表达。

Biochem/physiol Actions
自闭症易感基因2（AUTS2）可充当染色质调节剂，调节早期淋巴样细胞发育和T细胞白血病生成。它与自闭症、酒精成瘾和海洛因依赖有关。AUTS2会更改Rac信号传导。该基因的突变与自闭症谱系障碍（ASD）、发育迟缓和智力障碍有关。AUTS2参与细胞骨架调节、转录调节和神经发育。
