Application
M2 和 M16 培养基是植入前期胚胎体外培养的常用培养基。它是一种改良的 Krebs-Ringer 碳酸氢盐溶液，与 Whitten′s 培养基非常相似。M16 含有丙酮酸和乳酸作为能量来源，因为植入前胚胎不能有效利用葡萄糖。
