Anand Nambiar

Anand Nambiar is the Head of Science and Lab Solutions for the Life Science business of Merck. In this role, he oversees commercial geographies, strategic accounts, marketing, product management, research and business development, as well as eCommerce, strategy, and services. He is based in St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.

Anand brings more than 25 years of global leadership experience. He joined Merck in 2014 following the acquisition of AZ Electronic Materials and has since held several senior roles, including Managing Director of Merck India, Global Head of Semiconductor Materials, and most recently, Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Formulations for Merck’s Electronics business. In these roles, he led major growth initiatives, digital transformation efforts, and M&A activity, scaling businesses and driving operational excellence.

Before joining Merck, Anand held senior roles in the semiconductor industry across Asia and North America, including leadership positions at Nikon and Cascade Microtech.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Boston University and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, U.S.
