General description
These components allow for extra media bottles to be connected or lets sterile pressure compensation be possible. The parts are autoclaveable and the drive is provided by a standard magnetic stirrer.
Features and Benefits
- Manufactured from chemically resistant materials: PP, PTFE, PEEK, and stainless steel
- Use with standard magnetic stirrers up to 500 rpm and allows a significantly improved mixing performance compared to magnetic stir bars
- The adjustable stirrer shaft can be moved to the optimal position in either 500 or 1000 ml DURAN® GL 45 bottles
- Flexible: Use with the DURAN® GL 45 / GL 14 tubing connection components to connect 1.6, 3.0, 3.2, or 6.0 mm outer diameter semi-rigid tubing for the addition or removal of liquids or gas
- Autoclavable
- Not suitable for use with overhead lab stirrers
