General description
HPLC cartridge
Superspher® RP-18 endcapped is a reliable and versatile traditionally produced spherical silica gel carriers with C-18 endcapped reversed phase properties. They are well suited for the separation of neutral, acidic and weak basic compounds. This high performance silica carrier with a particle size of 4µm yields an excellent pressure/separation performance ratio. This sorbent is packed into a LiChroCART 125-4 HPLC cartridge. The connection to the HPLC system is being accomplished by use of the manu-CART NT cartrige holder (1.51486).
Application
- Chemometric approach for estimation of ropinirole hydrochloride: This study presents a chemometric approach for the development and validation of an HPLC method for estimating ropinirole hydrochloride using LiChrospher 100 RP-18 columns. The method shows robustness and efficiency for pharmaceutical analysis (Fatima et al., 2019).
- Simultaneous quantification of Parkinson′s disease medications: An HPLC method using LiChrospher 100 RP-18 was validated for simultaneous quantification of levodopa, carbidopa, benserazide, and entacapone in complex matrices, proving its capability in pharmaceutical formulations (Wollmer & Klein, 2017).
- Stability of THCA and (9)-THC in herbal cannabis: This research employed LiChrospher 100 RP-18 columns to determine the stability of THCA and Δ(9)-THC in herbal cannabis under different storage temperatures, important for forensic and pharmaceutical sciences (Taschwer & Schmid, 2015).
- Stability indicating method for cilazapril: Researchers developed a rapid and simple stability-indicating HPLC method for cilazapril, using LiChrospher 100 RP-18, to assess drug stability in pharmaceuticals, compared to spectrophotometric methods, highlighting its precision and reliability (Paszun et al., 2012).
