Recognizes natural and recombinant forms of human Interleukin-6 with an affinity of 0.5 nM. Inhibits IL-6 binding to its receptors and blocks Interleukin-6 induced proliferation on B9 cells.

The monoclonal is purified from tissue culture supernatant by ion exchange chromatography and is presented as a liquid in phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.2.
Preparation Note
Store at 2-8°C for up to 12 months from date of receipt. For long term storage aliquot antibody into small volumes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
