General description

The CLARISOLVE® Depth Filters are the first primary clarification offering with a gradient density structure specifically designed to the particle size distributions of pretreated feed streams. With improved volumetric capacity and reduced turbidity over currently available depth filters, the clarification step of pretreated feeds can be processed in a significantly reduced footprint without the need for a secondary stage of clarification.

A μPod scale device, the CLARISOLVE® depth filter provides the fastest and most efficient way to clarify high-density streams and easily transfer processes from upstream to downstream without the use of centrifugation.

This CLARISOLVE® filter has a filtration area of 0.027 m2 and a Lab Scale Pod device format.

Application

High-density cell cultures

Specifications

Filter Grade: 40MS

Preparation Note

Sterilization Method
Integrity is maintained after 2 autoclave cycles of 60 minutes at 123 °C.

Analysis Note

Total organic carbon (TOC) residue: Post autoclave (1 cycle of 60 minutes at 123 °C) and flushed at a flux rate of 600 LMH pure water flush for 10 minutes. At the end of the flush, a sample was pulled for TOC typical values.
Total organic carbon (TOC) residue: TOC for 60HX media was measured at below detectable limits.
