General description
Transforming growth factor beta receptor type 3 (TGF-beta receptor type 3 or TGFR-3), also known as Betaglycan or Transforming growth factor beta receptor III (TGF-beta receptor type III), and encoded by the gene name TGFBR3, is a membrane proteoglycan that often functions as a co-receptor with other TGF-beta receptor superfamily members. Ectodomain shedding produces soluble TGFBR3, which may inhibit TGFB signaling. Decreased expression of this receptor has been observed in various cancers. TGFBR3 is extensively modified by glycosaminoglycan groups (GAG).
~93 kDa observed. Uncharacterized bands may be observed in some lysate(s).
Immunogen
Purified recombinant fragment of human TGFBR3 expressed in E. Coli
Application
Anti-TGFBR3, clone 1C5H11 Antibody is an antibody against TGFBR3 for use in western blotting, flow cytometry & ELISA.
Flow Cytometry Analysis: A 1:200-1:400 dilution from a representative lot detected TGFBR3 in MOLT4 cells.
ELISA: A representative lot was used on Control Antigen (100 ng) and Antigen (10 ng, 50 ng, 100 ng) in ELISA (Direct).
