General description

EX-CELL® Advanced CHO Feed 1 (with glucose) is chemically-defined and contains no animal derived components. This feed is intended to be a part of a fed-batch platform, and used with EX-CELL® Advanced CHO Fed-batch Medium (14366C or 24366C). This platform contains no hypoxanthine andthymidine, L-glutamine, phenol red or 2-mercaptoethanol (2-ME).

Application

  • EX-CELL®Advanced CHOFeed 1 (with glucose) platform from SAFC has been specifically developed to supportgrowth and productivity across a diverse set of Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO)cells in fed-batch cultures while still allowing for flexibility in theadjustment of protein quality attributes.
  • This contemporary fed-batch platform was developedusing a strategy of Multivariate Analysis to establish correlations in whichthe formulation components influence critical process and product attributessuch as titer, fold expansion, receptor expression, and glycosylation.

Preparation Note

Formulated to contain 64.1 grams of powder per liter of medium.
