ZL34 was derived from a fibrous tumour of the pleural cavity in a 53-year old male patient, prior to treatment, with a known history of exposure to asbestos.

Preparation Note

DMEM:F12 (1:1) (D8062) + L-Glutamine (G7513) + 15% FBS / FCS (F2442).
Split subconfluent cultures (70-80%) 1:4 to 1:10 using 0.25% trypsin/EDTA; 5% CO2; 37 °C. Suggested seeding density 1-4 x 10,000 cells/cm2.
