General description
Anti-Claudin 3 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total Claudin 3 protein.
Claudin-3 (CLDN3) is a tetraspanin transmembrane protein, that is mapped to human chromosome 7q11.23.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human Claudin 3.
Immunogen Range: 171-220
Immunogen Range: 171-220
Application
Anti-Claudin 3, C-Terminal antibody has been used in immunofluorescence and western blotting.
Biochem/physiol Actions
In submandibular gland, claudin-3 (CLDN3) controls paracellular permeability with the help of TNF-α(tumor necrosis factor α). High level expression of CLDN3 improves the malignant ability of colorectal cancer cells. It participates in the organization and activities of tight junctions (TJs).
Features and Benefits
Evaluate our antibodies with complete peace of mind. If the antibody does not perform in your application, we will issue a full credit or replacement antibody. Learn more.
Physical form
Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.

Congenital diarrheal disorders (CDD) comprise > 50 monogenic entities featuring chronic diarrhea of early-onset, including defects in nutrient and electrolyte absorption, enterocyte polarization, enteroendocrine cell differentiation, and epithelial integrity. Diarrhea is also a predominant symptom in many immunodeficiencies, congenital disorders of glycosylation
