Biochem/physiol Actions
Prostaglandin E receptor 3 (PTGER3) serves as a receptor for prostaglandin (PG) E1 and E2, to carry out a number of physiological processes. PTGER3 specifically functions to reduce adenylyl cyclase action. It is involved in the activation of the Ras signaling pathway.
Features and Benefits
Evaluate our antibodies with complete peace of mind. If the antibody does not perform in your application, we will issue a full credit or replacement antibody. Learn more.
General description
The PTGER3 (prostaglandin E receptor 3) gene is mapped to human chromosome 1p31.1 and encodes a Gαi coupled receptor protein. It is predominantly localized to the brain in the neurons and activated glial cells. Anti-PTGER3 antibody detects endogenous levels of total PTGER3 protein.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human PTGER3.
